Alicia is a very special person. She has a genuine care and concern for not only the participants but her peers and manager as well. She enjoys cooking for them and will mostly buy all foods and bring them in to cook. She does not ask for
anything in return except for the happiness of the participants. She makes sure they have a voice and that their voices are heard. She worked through the pandemic, through the death of a close family member and immediately after recovering from being sick. When not at work she sometimes calls in to check on them and the supervisor. She offers sound advice to Participants, peers and the supervisor. The participants and staff truly love this lady and she is an asset to the team at Hazel Ave.

In June 2021, Philly Love put out the call to Philadelphia and the response was overwheling and beautiful... Over 30 amazing humans were honored and recognized by their communities for their love, hard work, and dedication. The resounding statements of "thank you for seeing me" were heard over and over again.
